The Information we keep about you:

When you register, the information that you provide to us is stored in our databases. This information is fully visible to administrators (except for your password). Your password is stored in our database as an encrypted string (which means if you lose your password we cannot tell you what it was!) for security purposes.

We take internet security seriously and as a result, the information gathered customers that sign up that are 13 years of age or under is modified.

The "First name", "Last Name" and "Country" of 13 year olds and under are changed from their names to "U13" upon signing up to help keep the identities of '13 and unders' unidentified. Users can not modify the "U13" name through the profile page until they are over 13 years of age.

For over 13's, their information is displayed on their user profile page which is accessible to anybody who visits and signs up with our website (except for the e-mail address).

By default upon signing up, you agree that we can send you e-mails such as (but not limited to) newsletters, and password resets. You should remember that this is not compulsory and non obligation. You can opt out of all e-mails by going to your profile page after signing in, and submitting a form to disable your e-mail address.

If you opt out, you will still recieve e-mails that you request such as password reset requests.

Your E-mail address and personal details will NOT be fowarded to any third party advertisers

Cookies:

By using this website, you agree to let us store "cookies" on your computer. These cookies will not contain any personally identifiable information and will be used solely to help us gather statistics for the website, and make life easier for you (e.g. save your login details onto your computer). We also store SSID cookies on your computer. This is something called a "session ID cookie" which allows us to pull up information regarding your account from the server, and this plays a big role in making the website work. Again no personal information is kept on your computer about you. Cookies are not in any way harmful so do not be worried by them!

Undercover Accounts

You should understand that we have undercover accounts and undercover fake emails running on this website. These are here to try and retrieve personal information about you, but for a good purpose.

The idea behind the undercover accounts and e-mails is to see how "safety conscious" our customers are, and when we successfully retrieve information from a user, we let them know that they have been caught by an undercover account giving out personal information which they should not have. This helps to protect our users better, and gather statistics

Under no circumstances should you supply any personal information to us or anyone else, including your password, unless directly requested from the internal snailmail (from an admin) or unless you have contacted us first for information, and we require this information to continue.
